Book excerpt: Ancient Man Psychological Aspect Theory Legends are not old lies, but ignored truths. Meanwhile the Psychological profile of a person is defined as the set of parameters that may led an individual to behave in a certain way in regards to what that person afterwards may do or may say. in other hand the Psychological Aspect of a human being are other arrange of parameters that make the individuals to believe or interpret the reality in a certain way. The psychological aspect of the prehistoric human being is not the same as the psychological aspect of a modern man. Each human, modern or primitive, can observe the same phenomenon, but the one who possess greater knowledge may interpret it better and explain it accurately. The right person to explain an unknown phenomena is the one who has the right tools to describe the same. An ancient Man who had only seen stones throughout his whole life and nothing else, is more likeable to explain everything by using the concept of the stones as a base for his own interpretation and explanation. A legend created by any human being is absolutely connected to the Psychological Aspect of the same human being and no one else, legend are born of interpretations. Since that ancient man was already surrounded by stones and is the only thing he knows so far, he will use the concept of stones to describe, explain or interpret anything he hears, listened, saw, experienced or dreamed. No one can explain something unknown from a concept he can not understand or does not know. We usually explain unknown phenomena based on what we already know and understand. With this experiment it is also discovered how people with psychological issues usually alter the perception of a real phenomena, but the existence of the same phenomena is not in jeopardy. The psychological aspect of the earthling human is different with regard to its knowledge, education, geographical position and epoch. This theory is to demonstrate that every legend that exist are not based on lies but on distorted truths across the millennials. Due to The Psychological Aspect of Earthling humans, these tent to exaggerate stories, phenomena and events, but the core of the narrative is absolute true, sin what really happened? is an investigation book about the secret history or the hidden history of the humanity, although the book develops topics related to philosophy, quantum physics and spirituality, the central topic of the book is the question "what really happened?"

Book excerpt: Exploring the much neglected area of Latin American exploitation cinema, this anthology challenges established continental and national histories and canons which often exclude exploitation cinema due to its perceived ‘low’ cultural status. Summary Book Review Through the Lens by Lauren Walsh:

Download or read book Through the Lens written by Lauren Walsh and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2022-03-10 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 2020 was a period of groundbreaking social and political upheaval, in combination with a colossal epidemiological crisis—and it urgently redefined the working conditions of photojournalists. The historic 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and the devastating Covid-19 pandemic presented unique challenges for photojournalism, forcing photographers into a terrain defined by new ethical, technological, and safety (emotional and physical) concerns, as well as innovative attacks on press freedom. Through a series of interviews—with top photographers who covered 2020’s biggest crises, as well as key photo editors who grappled with these unprecedented obstacles inside the newsroom—Through the Lens: The Pandemic and Black Lives Matter unpacks the industry’s most critical debates as it sheds light on the experiences and thought processes of the visual journalists themselves. Importantly, this book encourages readers to consider the efforts behind the camera lens: the challenges and risks visual journalists face to bring us the news in pictures. Richly illustrated with evocative photos, Through the Lens is a timely and vital look at the role photojournalism serves in a world of crisis. It is a powerful follow-up to Lauren Walsh’s previous title, Conversations on Conflict Photography, which offers a crucial exploration of the visual documentation of war and humanitarian crisis.

Book excerpt: A chance encounter in the Peruvian Highlands between travelling Aussies Lani and Michael and a 14-year-old Quechuan Peruvian - the vivacious Karina Carbajal Moreira - was a turning point in the Australians' holiday... and in their lives. Karina's parents were struggling to feed their six children, so giving them a good education seemed a modest but unattainable goal. Karina's mother Carmen, while working alone in the jungle, had a dream that one of her children would meet some foreigners who would help the family in some way. Carmen's dream proved prophetic and Carmen and her husband Celestino looked on with pride as their older children enjoyed an opportunity they themselves had never had. The Australian couple provided support for the older children's tertiary education, and a life-long bond between the two families was formed.
