Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Existence of God didn't seem impossible to Bruce. After all, the universe exists, and something had to create it. All of the scientific theories that Bruce learned about the beginning of time, space, matter, and energy basically said that it just happened and perhaps cyclically repeated the process. He thought there was a critical piece missing because, according to his understanding, scientific principle requires a cause for every effect. But what was the cause? God seemed like a possible explanation. Did God exist or not? Without sound evidence, agnosticism persisted. Much of what Bruce heard about Christianity and the Bible seemed like nonsense. If that were the case, the Bible and Christianity could not be based on a real God. In a discussion with his wife-to-be, he was challenged to show her any nonsense in the Bible. What could be easier than that? Just find those nonsensical writings and be done with it. But what he found, no matter how diligently he searched, was that the nonsense was a misrepresentation of Scripture. Based on overwhelming evidence from Scripture and science, Bruce became convinced that the Bible is indeed the inspired Word of God. This book is a presentation of many of the interesting things he discovered as he continued his search for the truth. Both Christians and nonbelievers will find it eye-opening.

Book excerpt: YAHWEH (The LORD God) and His Son YAHSHUAH (Jesus Christ) made statements with regard to Eschatology that have been “Spiritualized” for over a Millennium, which has led to the belief in Universalism, the belief that YAHSHUAH died for EVERYONE. Well, after one studies the original languages of the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, the message of the Kingdom of God was preached to and accepted by a certain House in the Bible. The other House rejected this message, and YAHSHUAH punished that House by taking the Kingdom away from them and giving It to another nation bringing forth fruit. There are only the House of Israel, the House of Judah, and the House of David, mentioned in the Bible. All three existed then, as they do today. However, most of today’s Babylonian Priesthood/Churchianity refuses to accept the secular historical position with regard to the House of Israel, and who they are today. The people groups, which YAHWEH and YAHSHUAH addressed, still exist today. However, these people are all mixed-up, and known by different names, but they DO exist. This book goes back to the origin of these people groups in the Bible, and brings them forward to the present using their old names, in order to understand Eschatology. This brings us to the major question of, “Is the Bible only about Israel?” And, if so, how does it affect our Eschatology today? This book answers these hard questions...

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent history, men from a variety of backgrounds have come to the same conclusion: that the Bible is about Israel only. For example: In 1861, John Mason Neale translated an ancient twelfth century Latin hymn and its title was O Come, O Come Emmanuel. Ever since 1861, Christians have sung that hymn at Christmas time, especially at Advent. Do you know what the words really mean that you are singing? In 1878, Edward Hine wrote an article titled, Seven-Eighths of the Bible Misunderstood, wherein he explains that seven-eighths of the Bible is about national salvation, i.e. the national salvation of True Israel; whereas, only one-eighth of the Bible is about personal salvation. Did you know that? In the 1960’s, Pastor Sheldon Emry wrote an article title, An Open Letter to Any Minister Who Teaches the Jews Are Israel, wherein he is of the opinion that the Israel that exists today since 1948 is not the True Israel of the Bible. In 1998, Arnold E. Kennedy wrote a book titled, The Exclusiveness of Israel, wherein he legally proves using the King James Version of the Bible that the Bible in general is only about True Israel. So, here we are in the Twenty-First Century, and the Gospel that is preached today is totally convoluted from that which was preached in the First Century A.D. by Yahshuah and His disciples, i.e. the Gospel of the Kingdom. So, where did the so-called churches and pastors go wrong? By the way, is there really a hierarchy in the Bible? In order to find out what the truth really is, we have to look at the original languages in which the Bible was written and then translated. For example, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, then translated into Greek. The New Testament was written in Hebrew and Greek. Both Testaments were put together and translated into Latin, then German, and finally into English, from which the entire world received their own translation of the Bible. So, what was the original meaning of the words used in the original languages, i.e. the etymology of the words. Once that is determined, then we can go onto the next phase and discuss types in the Bible. From there, what is the Law of First Mention? How should Bible prophecy be Interpreted? Who are the keys to Bible prophecy? Where are we in the Bible prophecy timeline? During these discussions, we will find out who Yahweh chose of all the families of the earth to make His own. The churches teach universalism. The question then becomes, Who was Yahweh’s Law given to? What are the Laws of Yahweh? And then the even bigger question becomes, Who was Yahshuah sent to? All of these questions and more will be answered as you read this book...

Book excerpt: What makes some children love God with all their heart and others reject Him? What can a parent do to fight against this evil culture that wants to rob, steal, and kill their children’s relationship with Christ? As most of us know, the enemy uses many tools to influence our children so they will rebel and reject the Lord. Being young, curious, and easily deceived, they make great targets for the evil one. This book prepares parents to fill the kind of roles in their children’s lives that are needed in order for their children to develop a close relationship with them and with Christ. Parents can learn how to help their children be proactive in their faith with Christ and lead themselves and others with God’s love and power in an evil culture, and not be led by it. Parents can find hope, practical help, and motivation to move forward. With God, parents can scale a wall and advance against a troop; no matter the difficulties they face, they can do all things through Christ who gives them great strength and weighty influence to lead their children.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Get back to the roots on Revelation Through the centuries since its writing, the book of Revelation has captured the fascination of the Christian church. The earliest Christians were unanimous in understanding it along a premillennial view of Jesus' second coming, but other hermeneutical approaches began to emerge in the third century. These clouded, and added complexity to, the task of explaining the book’s meaning. For most of the Christian era, consequently, many readers have viewed this last of the NT writings as though it were hopelessly embedded in an aura of deep mystery. An avalanche of interpretive literature has evidenced remarkable interest in the book’s contents, but along with the interest has come widespread bewilderment. Written especially for the informed layman, student, and scholar, this commentary seeks to clear the air. The book is interpreted according to a historical and grammatical hermeneutic and propounds a conservative, evangelical theology, but the reader will not get a narrow view on areas of disagreement. This commentary interacts with a range of major views, both evangelical and nonevangelical. It reaffirms the basic framework of eschatology espoused by ancient Christianity, but with added help from centuries of maturing thought and doctrinal progress in the Body of Christ. All exegesis and exposition in this 2-volume commentary are based on the original language of the text. Translations used are those of the author, and textual criticism and word study are included where appropriate. This in-depth commentary also includes extended excursuses on important topics of theological and historical interest.

Download or read book Greek Is Great Gain written by William J. Larkin and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2008-03-01 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Greek Is Great Gain presents to students and pastors an exegetical method with a rigor worthy of Scripture and a practicality suitable for weekly use. It has additional features that enable the expositor to see holistically the role of Greek in ministry. The introductory chapters give the rationale, basic definitions, and presuppositions for a Greek-based exegetical method. After describing ways to maintain Greek reading proficiency and ways to prepare the text in translation and, visually, in mechanical layout, Greek Is Great Gain devotes the bulk of its pages to a step-by-step exegetical method. From surveying the text to viewing the text in its historical and literary context and genre, from engaging in analysis of grammatical and rhetorical features to addressing lexical and theological matters, the method guides expositors to unlock the meaning of the text. Then, having analyzed the text closely, the method directs expositors to view the text whole through exegetical outline and the relation of its message to its book, and to Scripture as a whole. Finally, after interpreting and applying the text's message in and for today's culture, the method instructs the expositor in appropriating the fruit of exegesis for the sermon or Bible lesson. A final chapter describes possibilities for periodic in-depth study. As Greek Is Great Gain presents each part of the method, it gives a purpose or rationale for the step and any necessary background, a list of resources to use, a procedure to follow, and a sample exegesis. A Grammar Guide appendix gives in outline form features of form and function for intermediate grammar. And there are charts to aid in analysis. Greek Is Great Gain clearly lives up to its subtitle in providing a method that successfully moves preachers or teachers of the Word from Exegesis to Exposition.

Book excerpt: This is the ark of Noah (the boat that floated on top of the water when the first world was destroyed). This book is calling for a religious debate to review the understandings about the ark and the beginning of our world system. The Bible story about the ark is true, but the interpretation about the ark is faulty. When you see the ark, you know that everything of which this object is composed resembles our modern life. It looks like a cabin. It looks like nails or glue was used to fasten the wood together. It looks like Noah knew about the invention of axes or cutlasses and hammers. So if Noah knew of these inventions, then why did early men start this world with nothing? They lived in caves and roamed the earth, using bare hands to strangle animals so they could eat the flesh. This book will introduce you to the things surrounding this ark. It will offer the wisdom of the Great Jehovah. This wisdom never has been understood, from the beginning until now. Download or read book And There Was Light written by Thomas C. Weedon and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2018-05-03 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What if a dear friend or relative told you that they cannot believe the Bible because it is teaching ideas contrary to common sense and proven science? Sharing the gospel with another person can be hard enough, but when the subject of creation comes up in the discussion, communication often suffers, and the gospel message can be lost. In And There Was Light, author Thomas C. Weedon shows that there is no conflict between what the Bible affirms and proven science concerning the age of the universe. A careful examination of Genesis finds that scripture does not provide all the details of creation that some assume when they declare that everything was created six thousand years ago. The universe, and all that is in it, is the work of God, and the Bible is the Word of God. It is not logical for the works of God to be a contradiction to the Word of God. Someday our children, who have been raised in the church, will leave home and move on in society, and when they see the evidence and learn the truth concerning the true age of the universe, will they question the Holy Scriptures and possibly leave the faith? This does not need to happen, and the first step is truly discovering what the scriptures actually say about creation and understanding these works and words in context.
