Summary Book Review James the Pillar of the Early Church by Lucidus Smith:
Download or read book James the Pillar of the Early Church written by Lucidus Smith and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2017-04-03 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The New Testament book of James, the Lord Jesus’s brother, has always been one of my favorite books in the whole Bible, as in my opinion, it gives a clear picture of how we should function as individual Christian believers and how believers and the local church or fellowship that they are part of should interact together. During the summer of 2016, I felt prompted to write my own paraphrase of the book of James, based on the King James Version of the Bible, and then in early December, after a conversation with a friend of mine at church, I felt the time was right to write my own commentary on James with language and examples from the modern era. All Bible references in this book are once again my own paraphrase based on the King James Version of the Bible. I hope you find this book challenging, stimulating, and helpful in your Christian walk and that it encourages you to get to know the Bible more deeply in the future. Lucidus Smith

Download or read book Holy Bible Aionian Edition: Aionian Bible written by Nainoia, Inc. and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2019-02-09 with total page 688 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Holy Bible Aionian Edition is the world's first Bible un-translation! Free at AionianBible.org and Google Playstore! What is an un-translation? Bibles are translated into each of our languages from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek. Occasionally, the best word translation cannot be found and these words are transliterated letter by letter. Four well-known transliterations are Christ, baptism, angel, and apostle. The meaning is then preserved more accurately through context and a lexicon. The Aionian Bible un-translates and instead transliterates ten additional Aionian Glossary words to help us better understand God's love for individuals and all mankind, and the nature of after-life destinies. The key Greek word un-translated in the Aionian Bible is 'aionios', typically translated as eternal and also world or age. However, aionios means something much more wonderful than eternal! Why purple? King Jesus' Word is royal, and purple is our favorite color!

Summary Book Review The Holy Book Of El Shaddai by Efren Gamboa:
Download or read book The Holy Book Of El Shaddai written by Efren Gamboa and published by Book Venture Publishing LLC. This book was released on 2017-06-30 with total page 728 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Hebrew name of God in the holy writings is El Shaddai. “El” means “God Creator” and “Shaddai” means “Almighty.” El Shaddai is the name of God. Although we read other names given to God in the Old Testament, none of those names are the true name of God. Names such as Lord, Yahweh, and Jehovah were never spoken or pronounced in Israel in the entire Old Testament as their god. Before the Kingdom of Judah fell, El Shaddai warns the Judeans that their false prophets have changed his name with Baal, which is the same name as Lord. “And it shall be at that day,” says El Shaddai, “that you shall call Me Ishi (my beloved) and shall call Me no more Baali (my lord). For I will take away the names of the Baalim (lords) gods out of their mouth and they shall no more be mentioned by their name.”

Download or read book The Bible written by Guy Quinn and published by Gatekeeper Press. This book was released on 2022-11-10 with total page 1273 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Bible isn't just a book espousing a particular religion, it's 66 books (39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament) touching on topics such as: history, law, poetry, biographies, letters, and prophecy. If used properly, the reader can see themselves, others, and the world from an entirely changed perspective. However, for most, reading the Bible piques both curiosity and confusion. How wonderful if there was a reading assistant to guide the reader smoothly from one page to the next, enhancing understanding. This book is the complete Bible in a class to itself. Organized chronologically, annotations and introductions clear away any fog that may impede the reader’s comprehension. Additionally, events include the date, contemporary happenings, characters' ages, explanations of Hebrew traditional culture, history charts, and simplified period of kings (from King Solomon to Zedekiah). Reading the Bible should be an exciting journey filled with profound insights, awe, suspense, and adventure, with guaranteed comprehension and satisfaction. Something one will not put down easily but instead looks forward to picking up where they left off, even rereading again and again. Ideal for personal study, group studies, and institutional curriculum; a valuable tool for church leaders.
