Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Donald J. Trump burst upon the American political landscape in 2015 with his brash, America-first rhetoric. His up-beat, informal style earned him the sobriquet “The Inspirational President.” You will discover in this unabridged and annotated collection of President Trump’s most important and pivotal speeches and remarks both the inner-workings and the inner-beliefs of the man who stunned the world to become the forty-fifth president of the United States of America, such as . . . - Mr. Trump’s presidential bid announcement - The persuasive “What Have You Got to Lose?” speech to black voters - President Trump’s four State of the Union addresses - The inspirational Mount Rushmore speech - President Trump’s remarks to the UN General Assembly - And many others. The ABOUT US book series brings to life the exciting and vibrant history of the United States with classic and inspiring books that celebrate the bravery, audacity, and daring of the men and women who founded and created the nation that is the beacon of freedom to the world. The My Fellow Americans series presents in unabridged and annotated form the policy-defining and personality-revealing orations and speeches of the American presidents for everyone to experience and learn. FOREWORD The president of the United States is the most powerful person in the world. This has been true for a very long time — perhaps from the very beginning. So it is important to know and understand these men who sought and attained this highest office in the land. And what better way to understand the presidents than through their own words? About US Books and Kallisti Publishing Inc. is pleased to present to you the first volume of the My Fellow Americans series, a line of books that will present to the ages the important and significant speeches and orations of the presidents of the United States of American. This inaugural volume showcases America’s “inspirational” president, Donald J. Trump, the billionaire businessman who, rather than taking the traditional route of governor — senator — president, instead leaped straight to the top in a hard-fought race against then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Some people think President Trump to be brash. Others think him to be rude, insensitive, and even worse. Yet others still describe him as inspirational and uplifting. What you will discover as you read candidate and President Trump’s speeches is a person who ardently believes in the American Dream, who looks up to heroes, and who sees beyond the horizon to “the best” that is to come. Ultimately, his own words are here so you can make your own decision. Choosing which speeches to include in this volume presented some difficulty because President Trump often spoke “off-script” and talked extemporaneously. Of course, no volume of a president’s speeches would be complete without his State of the Union addresses; thus, all four are presented here. Remarks to the UN General Assemble are important declarations of foreign policy, so they, too, are all included. That left a lot of speeches through which to sift, and what were chosen were Mr. Trump’s famous presidential bid speech, Candidate Trump’s plea to black voters, President Trump’s Inaugural Address, the inspirational Mount Rushmore speech, and others that highlight President Trump’s policy positions, vision, and goals. Please enjoy this deep-dive into the mind of Donald J. Trump through his speeches and remarks. And please look forward to the upcoming volumes in the My Fellow Americans series. So, as the presidents end their speeches, I leave you with a hearty thank you and a strong God bless America! Summary Book Review President Donald J. Trump by Santiago Gomez:

Download or read book President Donald J. Trump written by Santiago Gomez and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2022-11-03 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author has been a Christian missionary, pastor, and an evangelist since 1998 when he joined Evangelist Ivan Tate on a mission to Maun, Botswana. He has since conducted missions and pastor conferences to several other African countries as well as to the Philippines and Mexico and Central and South America. He is the recent author of a book titled President Donald J. Trump: God Jehovah's Chosen Vessel and now has an enormous responsibility to warn the people of the United States and the entire world about the impending return of the Lord Jesus Christ to meet His bride, the church, in the air. To join in the celebration of the impending wedding, one must be born-again, one must be dressed (clothed) in Jesus Christ to be allowed into the wedding of the bride and of the Lamb. This will be in the year 2030, as described in this God-inspired treatise. Jesus said no one knows the day nor the hour, but He did not say anything about the year. He left that for us to find in the Bible, which the Lord has so graciously revealed to His servant and fellow laborer, Santiago. He is hoping and praying that true Christians get out of the closet and start an end-time revival that will explode to the outer parts of this fallen world. The author feels that there is no more time to play church since we have been given an end-time prophet to the nations, and that is none other than President Donald J. Trump. It is the author's prayer that not one of God's children will be left behind to deal with the soon-appearing "Antichrist."

Book excerpt: 'Hilarious, unbelievable' - The Sunday Times Books of the Year **As featured on BBC Newsnight** The blisteringly funny satirical account of Donald Trump’s first year as President, as imagined by Alec Baldwin and Kurt Andersen. 'I have the best words, beautiful words, as everybody has been talking and talking about for a long time. Also? The best sentences and, what do you call them, paragraphs. My previous books were great and sold extremely, unbelievably well--even the ones by dishonest, disgusting so-called journalists. But those writers didn't understand Trump, because quite frankly they were major losers. People say if you want it done right you have to do it yourself, even when 'it' is a 'memoir.' So every word of this book was written by me, using a special advanced word processing system during the many, many nights I've been forced to stay alone in the White House--only me, just me, trust me, nobody helped. And it's all 100% true, so true--people are already saying it may be the truest book ever published. Enjoy.' You Can’t Spell America Without Me is presented by America’s foremost Trump scholar Kurt Andersen as well as America's foremost mediocre Trump impersonator, Alec Baldwin.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Current Events Hall takes aim at the global events of 2018 with a unique and refreshing perspective. Topics in this volume include the following: • President Trump displaying brazen hypocrisies—“Complaining about Trump’s hypocrisy is like complaining about a prostitute’s promiscuity.” • The Catholic Church covering up sins of pedophile priests—“These putative men of God cannot believe God exists. They must reason that, if he did, he would have stopped priests from systematically abusing children long ago. After all, what God would allow a criminal sex cult to flourish as a holy church in his name?” • Tiger Woods failing to win another major—“Tiger is becoming to PGA players what Hugh Hefner became to LA players: the most popular guy in the game who everyone knows can’t do it anymore.” • Caribbean leaders condemning “shithole” Trump—“Haitian migrants pose a heavy, unsustainable burden for the relatively small and poor countries of the Caribbean. This explains why, even though none have called Haiti a shithole, some Caribbean leaders have treated Haitians like shit.” • Meryl Streep hailing Harvey Weinstein as “God”—“That she said this is as much an indication of how far Weinstein has fallen from grace as it is an indictment of how much even Streep was beholding to his power and influence.” • Europeans doing more than Africans to solve Africa’s migrant crisis—“Only a symbiosis of European colonial guilt and African umbilical dependence explains why.” • Research showing the health benefits of bread—“No less an authority than the Bible decreed that bread and water are the staff of life. Which is why I hereby curse Atkins and his spawn of ketogenic false prophets in the name of God.” • Trump continuing bromance with Putin despite bipartisan criticism—“Trump is behaving like a teenage girl who was reprimanded by her parents for sneaking out for a booty call with a notorious bad boy. And she responds by sneaking that bad boy into her bedroom . . . and ends up pregnant.”

This book was released on 2022-07-18 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Evolution of the Executive Office of the Presidency is a history book that deals specifically with the Office of the Presidency. How did it begin? How was it created? How did the office itself evolve from when President General George Washington stood on the steps of Federal Hall in New York City in 1789 to the office that is now occupied by incumbent President Joseph P. Biden? Due to recent historical events, we as voters and taxpayers must heed caution in whom we select as a candidate for the office by asking the basic questions of will this candidate respect the integrity of the office for the actions of past presidents? How has it reflected in the office itself as a whole in 1803 when Thomas Jefferson was meeting with the ambassador of France? His intent was to buy the port of New Orleans. However, after corresponding with Napoleon Bonaparte, the ambassador was able to go beyond that and do one better by offering President Jefferson the entire Louisiana territory. While the United States Constitution has legal provisions on how to add new states to the union, nothing in that near-absolute document gives the chief executive the wherewithal of how to obtain the land so that new states can be added. Article II of the United States Constitution enumerates the powers of commander in chief of all military forces. However, what kind of orders, directives, or missions that the president can order military personnel to undertake is not listed. The intelligence of, the educations, past experiences of the men themselves—what was it that specifically had proven beyond any reasonable doubt that they would be the kind of men that we ought to be electing to the presidency? George Washington was the first man elected to the presidency. The Founding Fathers had designed the office with him in mind. While George Washington was the incumbent president from 1789 to 1797 he established a very high standard of ethical morality. Every man that has been elected after him was measured by that standard of ethical morality. So we as a nation have collectively looked to such a standard in those we have elected. That high standard of ethical morality was implicit to the kind of man that George Washington was, so we ought to be looking for persons that would fit that standard. This work started with a few essays written in college about the presidency. They have been expanded on, reedited, and revised to where it is that the reader will be able to enjoy. While it is not a biographical presentation of the presidents themselves, the book is a way of measuring the presidents to determine if they fit the standard. Two main sources of reference for this work: the philosophy of government that was devised by French philosopher Charles Secondat, better known as the Baron de Montesquieu, as well as what Henry David Thoreau had written in Civil Disobedience. “The best government is one that governs least”; “the best government is one that governs not at all”—which of these two philosophies has a president administrated by in acting as the chief magistrate? How have their actions, both positive and negative, reflected on the office? This book is about many things: history, ethics, policy decisions, philosophy of government that the presidents had prior to and during their respective administrations. How have these philosophies and their experiences and political beliefs reflected on the office? Within the contents of this book is a fictional story, “The Trial of a President.” For the president that is on trial is three hundred pounds, a billionaire, and married to a former Playboy playmate. However, the defendant is not being tried in a regular municipal criminal court of law. Based on the saying “a jury of one peers,” other past presidents are trying him in an extraordinary court of law. The presiding judge is an ex-president. The prosecution and defense counsels are also former presidents. How did this approach to the presidency violate the oath that he took? An oath that George Washington had devised, how—in terms of the Article II parameters—did he abuse the power of the office according to the precedents that was established by the men that held the office before him?

Summary Book Review Peril by Bob Woodward:

Download or read book Peril written by Bob Woodward and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2021-09-21 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The transition from President Donald J. Trump to President Joseph R. Biden Jr. stands as one of the most dangerous periods in American history. But as # 1 internationally bestselling author Bob Woodward and acclaimed reporter Robert Costa reveal for the first time, it was far more than just a domestic political crisis. Woodward and Costa interviewed more than 200 people at the center of the turmoil, resulting in more than 6,000 pages of transcripts—and a spellbinding and definitive portrait of a nation on the brink. This classic study of Washington takes readers deep inside the Trump White House, the Biden White House, the 2020 campaign, and the Pentagon and Congress, with vivid, eyewitness accounts of what really happened. Peril is supplemented throughout with never-before-seen material from secret orders, transcripts of confidential calls, diaries, emails, meeting notes and other personal and government records, making for an unparalleled history. It is also the first inside look at Biden’s presidency as he faces the challenges of a lifetime: the continuing deadly pandemic and millions of Americans facing soul-crushing economic pain, all the while navigating a bitter and disabling partisan divide, a world rife with threats, and the hovering, dark shadow of the former president. “We have much to do in this winter of peril,” Biden declared at his inauguration, an event marked by a nerve-wracking security alert and the threat of domestic terrorism. Peril is the extraordinary story of the end of one presidency and the beginning of another, and represents the culmination of Bob Woodward’s news-making trilogy on the Trump presidency, along with Fear and Rage. And it is the beginning of a collaboration with fellow Washington Post reporter Robert Costa that will remind readers of Woodward’s coverage, with Carl Bernstein, of President Richard M. Nixon’s final days.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Summer 2018: Two years into President Donald J. Trump's first term in office, America has never been greater. The Even Greater Wall along the Mexican border is under construction, paid for by Mexico. Americans have more money in their pockets thanks to lower taxes and the president's creative money-raising strategies. (Who else would have thought to pay for FEMA's budget by suing the Catholic Church over property damage caused by acts of God?) And while Trump's detractors may call him a tyrant, the American people love bullies when the victim is Congress: every time they impeach the president, his approval rating skyrockets. Ever conscious of his hugely important historical legacy, The Donald plucks disgraced tabloid reporter Jimmie Bernwood—the man responsible for publishing the infamous Ted Cruz sex tape—from the depths of anonymity to become his official biographer, giving him enviable access to the gold-plated White House and all of its secrets. When Trump's previous biographer turns up dead, Bernwood must do some real investigative reporting, get to the bottom of a long series of murders...and, if it's absolutely unavoidable, save the country. The Day of the Donald is a hilariously hair-raising look at the (possible) future of America.

That is what this book is intended to do and in great detail as captured in a series of columns written by the author. Paul Schwartz is a political columnist and has focused on the Trump administration and its mismanagement, from Trump’s misunderstanding of import tariffs to his total lack of understanding of how illegal drugs are smuggled into our country across the southern border to his embarrassing July 4 speech in front of the Lincoln Memorial during which he referred to George Washington’s use of air power. If you want to reminisce about Trump’s miscues, this is the book for you. It is a time capsule of that administration from inauguration to impeachment.

Book excerpt: NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER If you think the wildest, wackiest stories that Carl Hiaasen can tell have all made it into his hilarious, bestselling novels, think again. Dance of the Reptiles collects the best of Hiaasen’s Miami Herald columns, which lay bare the stories--large and small--that demonstrate anew that truth is far stranger than fiction. Hiaasen offers his commentary—indignant, disbelieving, sometimes righteously angry, and frequently hilarious—on burning issues like animal welfare, polluted rivers, and the broken criminal justice system as well as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Bernie Madoff's trial, and the shenanigans of the recent presidential elections. Whether or not you have read Carl Hiaasen before, you are in for a wild ride.
